Who we are

House Of Prayer Kingdom Ministry was established in heaven by God the father (Jehovah), God the son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit (Ruach Ha’kodesh), and manifested on earth through obedience and partnership with Apostle Augustine Kiawu and Mother Praise Kiawu in January 2021.

This ministry serves as a spiritual home where the next generation can find their voice, shape their future, and grow in intimacy with Christ. Through the teaching of God’s word, prayer, and discipleship, House Of Prayer Kingdom Ministry demonstrates the love of Christ, restores hope to the lost, and calls believers into a royal priesthood that manifests the fullness of God through Jesus Christ.

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God own special people, called forth to showcase his excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9

My name is Praise Kiawu, formerly known as Julie Ghoson. I was born in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County. In 1997, my father relocated my siblings and I to the United States in search of greener pastures and a better future for us.

In 2003, I lost my father, and that moment marked a major turning point in my life. Everything changed. I had to learn how to fend for myself, and although life once seemed easy, I soon realized that God was allowing a process. What I didn’t understand then was that God was working behind the scenes, shaping me for purpose.

In 2011, I met my husband, Augustine Kiawu, and we got married that same year. Through our union, God has blessed us with four beautiful children, and by his grace, we have now been married for 14 years.

Through every trial, loss, and transition, God has proven himself faithful. My life is a testimony that even when things seem broken, God is still writing a beautiful story.
